The Academy of American Poets will be hosting a Poets Forum from October 8th-10th, 2015. This reading by the Academy of American Poets Chancellors will feature fifteen award-winning poets, including Elizabeth Alexander, Claudia Rankine, and U.S. poet laureate Juan Felipe Herrera.
Join us for an unforgettable evening as award-winning poets from across the U.S. who serve as Chancellors of the Academy of American Poets come together on one stage to share their poems. Featuring Elizabeth Alexander, Toi Derricotte, Mark Doty, Linda Gregerson, Juan Felipe Herrera, Jane Hirshfield, Khaled Mattawa, Marilyn Nelson, Naomi Shihab Nye, Alicia Ostriker, Claudia Rankine, Alberto Ríos, Arthur Sze, Anne Waldman, and C. This event is extremely resourceful for students, which will run in dialogue for 1 hour 30 minutes. The Academy is offering student priced tickets at $5, and regular admission for $15.
