
The Northeast Modern Language Association (NeMLA) is currently accepting session proposals from faculty and graduate students for our 48th Annual Convention, which will take place March 23-26, 2017 in Baltimore, Maryland. Those interested in submitting a session proposal should do so by creating an account here here.
NeMLA is the largest of the regional MLA organizations, with over 1800 professors, graduate students, and independent scholars in language and literature from across the northeast US and eastern Canada in attendance each year.
For this 2017 meeting, NeMLA particularly welcomes proposals on the following topics:
- Interdisciplinary humanities
- Urban ecology/the city
- Satire and humor
- Digital humanities
- Material culture
- Disability
- Public scholarship & activism
- Education & reform Diversity
Deadline for session proposals: Apr 29, 2016
