The Staten Island Alliance for Interdisciplinary Studies awards its first ever Collaborative Teaching Grant (CTG) to Dr. Joseph Bongiorno and Dr. Stephen Paul Miller.
Generously supported by the Office of the Dean of St. John’s College, CTG rewards collaborative teaching across disciplines and colleges on Staten Island campus.
Teaching Collaborators pursue a cross-disciplinary teaching project that identifies a common social problem, a common area of research inquiry, or an integration of student skills.
Through this grant, Dr. Bongiorno’s Global History class and Dr. Miller’s Literature and Culture class jointly explore notions of community in a modern global society.
