
Business Communication Adjunct Position at FIT
The English and Communication Studies Department at the Fashion Institute of Technology is seeking an adjunct faculty member to instruct two sections of our Strategies of Business Communication (EN321) course for the Fall 2016 semester. Currently we have two sections that need to be filled. The first section is a split class that meets on both Monday and Wednesday from 5:10 – 6:25. The second section available meets once a week on Saturdayfrom 9:10 – 12:00. To provide you with some information about the course, please read the following statement that describes EN321 from our course catalog:
Students analyze business situations to write effective correspondence, job search materials, reports, and presentations. They also learn various strategies to elicit appropriate responses for specific audiences. Students are guided in techniques of business research and documentation and develop strategies for using available technology.
