JOB: Part-time ESL Writing Consultant Opening at UConn Stamford, Fall 2016

English as a Second Language (ESL) Writing Tutor

University of Connecticut in Stamford is searching for a part-time writing tutor who has training and experience in working with non-native writers. The successful hire will work with international student writers in the Writing Center under the supervision of the Writing Center Director and in collaboration with instructors who teach first-year writing courses for non-native writers. Applications are due by August 31.

Specifics of the Position: 
-Mid-September through December
-Pays $25/hour
-Up to 10 hours per week

Qualifications:
-A master’s degree in progress in English or a related field
-Training in ESL pedagogy (TESOL training/certification a plus)
-Experience in working with non-native writers at the college level
