Apply for the MLA’s 2016–17 Connected Academics proseminar in New York City!
Proseminar fellows will
- Learn about career horizons for PhDs and the versatility of advanced study in the humanities
- Develop skills and gain experiences that will be valuable in pursuing any career
- Get a behind-the-scenes look at nonprofits and cultural institutions that employ PhDs
- Contribute to the national conversation about careers for humanities PhDs
Fellows will each receive a $2,000 stipend to support participation. You must be able to attend six meetings in New York City during the 2016–17 academic year.
Applications are due by 1 June 2016.
