SJU Winter Carnival

The holiday season is filled with celebrations that reflect the rich traditions of different cultural backgrounds, faiths, and religious beliefs.

To celebrate this season, Student Government, Multicultural Affairs, Campus Activities, and several student organizations deliver programs that help our diverse campus community appreciate the significance of the holidays. Winter Carnival features Ice Skating at Bryant Park, Holiday Market, and a fireworks show.

Ice Skating at Bryant Park
Take a trip with fellow SJU students to ice skate in Bryant Park. This NYC holiday tradition is sure to become a cherished memory during your time at St. John’s.

Central Park Christmas
St. John’s is bringing the spirit of Central Park to campus! Enjoy horse and carriage rides, carolers, and toy soldier performers. Coffee and treats will also be served.

Santa’s Workshop
Decorate a Santa hat or stocking, fill a bag full of free candy, and enjoy snacks.

Tree Lighting
Celebrate the holiday season with St. John’s University’s traditional tree lighting ceremony and fireworks show!
