Guest Lecture: Edward Balleisen Mon Sept 29, 1:50 pm, DAC 208

Please join us on Monday 9/29 during Common Hour as we welcome Edward Balleisen, a Senior Vice-Provost and Professor of History at Duke University, for a lecture on “The Case for Collaborative Projects and Experiential Learning in the Undergraduate Curriculum.”

Professor Ballenstein will talk about innovations in teaching and learning that prepare our students to meet the changing demands of the twenty-first century.

This lecture is sponsored by an MLA Pathways Step Grant funded by the Mellon Foundation, in collaboration with St. John’s College, the University Honors Program, and the Department of English. Professor Brian Lockey (English) has been the point person for this project.
