For FY26, St. John’s College student travel funds have been re-instated. St. John’s College will provide up to $500 per year per student as of June 1, 2025. The funds are available for students who are presenting their research at a conference.
Before travel, the student must complete the pre-approval FormStack form, https://sjuit.formstack.com/workflows/travel_information_pre_approval. This first step allows for review of the conference acceptance before additional documentation is submitted, and it provides notification to the Dean’s Office that the advisor is aware of the travel request.
Once the FormStack is approved, then the first page Travel Request form (attached) can be submitted to me before traveling to the conference. When the student returns, they can submit receipts along with the completed form, including the pre-approval page to Michelle Cruz.
If a student has already travelled to present at a conference since June 1, 2025, ask the student to complete the FormStack and then submit the completed Travel Request and Expense Reimbursement Form for my signature, and I will forward it to Michelle Cruz for processing.
