Research Focus: Classics and Classical Drama
Robert Forman teaches ancient Greek and Roman literature and the University Honors Program core course in global literature as well as Latin in the Department of Languages and Literatures on the Queens Campus. He has written on St. Augustine’s relationship to pre-Christian literature, Vergil’s Aeneid, and classical drama. He previously directed the University Honors Program on the Queens campus and is a native New Yorker with a lifelong interest in the city’s history. He frequently leads students on walking tours of historical districts in Manhattan and on gallery tours at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
