THE AUDRE LORDE MLA CONFERENCE GRADUATE ESSAY PRIZE

In 2015, the GL/Q Caucus of the MLA Executive Committee inaugurated an essay prize for the best graduate paper on queer theory/LGBTQ studies presented at each MLA conference. The prize winner and honorable mention will be determined by the GL/Q Executive Committee. Any person who is currently enrolled in a graduate program (MA, MFA, PhD, etc) and is presenting at the 2016 MLA is eligible. Please send your paper and the name, time, and date of your panel. The graduate essays will be due to the Caucus President one week before the beginning of the MLA Conference. This year the papers are due Jan 1, 2016 at 6pm EST to Shanté Paradigm Smalls at smallss@stjohns.edu.
