Assistant Professor of English at Lebanon Valley College

“The Creative Writing Program in the Department of Humanities at Lebanon Valley College invites applications for an Assistant Professor (3-year renewable, non-tenure track) with a specialization in Creative Writing (Poetry or Scriptwriting), to begin Fall 2022.”

Lebanon Valley College is seeking graduate students who will soon be completing their degrees and will be entering the job market. The college asks that applicants have the ability to teach a variety of courses in creative writing at the undergraduate level, develop a growing creative writing program, and are committed to inclusive teaching strategies and community growth. “Cover letter (1-2 pages), CV, statement of teaching philosophy (1 to 2 pages), statement of inclusive excellence (1 page): a diversity, equity, and inclusion statement addressing personal experience with teaching, advising, or service intended to reduce barriers and contribute to the development of an inclusive community, creative writing samples (up to 25 pages made up of any number of individual works), critical writing samples (up to 10 pages/Conference paper), and syllabi and teaching evaluations for at least two recently taught courses.
