Please come to our first Bookmarks event of Fall 2024!
These events are opportunities for people in our community to gather to celebrate our achievements as writers. In this case, we’re celebrating the latest book by our creative writing professor Gabe Brownstein. His book, The Secret Mind of Bertha Pappenheim: The Woman Who Invented Freud’s Talking Cure, tells the story of the birth of psychoanalysis in late nineteenth-century Vienna, with special focus on Berthan Pappenheim, the patient whom Freud would later rename “Anna O.”
