Prof. Catina Bacote received the St. John’s Summer Support of Research Award. The $10,000 award will allow her to devote the summer months to revising her manuscript-in-progress Eastern Circle. The nonfiction book draws on personal and social history to reveal the lasting impact of the illegal drug trade on families and communities.
