Dr. Matt Zarnowiecki, Chair of English at Touro Collge, would be interested in considering SJU students to teach a late evening composition class at the Lander College for Men in Kew Gardens Hills. Some details:
– The class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 9:35 to 10:40 p.m.
– The semester begins Aug. 27, the last day of classes is Jan. 7, and there is a final exam on Jan. 9 or 10. (Full calendar available at http://lcm.touro.edu/evening-program/academic-calendar/ — this shows a list of the holidays during the fall semester.)
– MA in English (or related field) required; composition teaching experience preferred.
– Additional courses or Writing Center hours might also be available, depending on registration.
