Dr. Cristina Migliaccio of St. John’s English Department to Join Faculty at CUNY Medgar Evers College

Cristina Migliaccio will be hooded in May and is excited to join the faculty at CUNY Medgar Evers College in her native Brooklyn, New York.

As Assistant Professor, she will teach a broad range of composition courses and work with other faculty to explore writing across communities’ initiatives.

“The rigor of courses like African American Literature and Literary Theory in the Ph.D. program coupled with fellowship work in the Writing Center and the Writing Across the Curriculum program inspired my research interests in translingualism and digital pedagogy. I look forward to drawing from my experiences at SJU and my extensive teaching background to serve the tight-knit community of Medgar Evers.”
