Mosammat Sultana has an interest in Medieval studies, with a focus on travel writing and race. As a person of color who grew up in New York City and has always identified in various ways, race, ethnicity, religion, and language being a few, she is interested in building a generation that doesn’t fear their various identities and instead finds it empowering.
As the focus of our education system becomes grades and numbers, Mosammat hopes to engage others with topics of identity that are conventionally uncomfortable and ignored and continue the critical thinking process.
