Niehely Sosa is a Master’s student attending St. John’s University. She is currently pursuing an English degree. Prior to St. John’s University, she completed her undergraduate degree at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY where she focused on Harlem Renaissance literature. Following this, she attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas where she studied education and the inequities that afflict the US education system.
She was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She now teaches at a middle school in East Harlem.
