Poetry Teachers NYC + Milk & Roses + Brooklyn Winery + The Yard present: A Series of Poetic Evenings

This is the first event to kick off the PTNYC Series of Readings, Classes & Workshops!! We will also be having our Poets support local fashion by modeling some designers attire. Also, if anyone is interested in having their publication or project announced at the event all are welcome. Many thanks to Milk and Roses & The Yard.
The series begins on Wednesday, November 28th with a poetry reading featuring PTNYC faculty along with a critically acclaimed guest poet. The reading will be held at Milk & Roses restaurant at 1110 Manhattan Ave. in Brooklyn.
On Wednesday, December 5th, PTNYC will host a class taught by three poets, each of whom will explicate poetic work by drawing upon the nuances of a particular wine, with a writing exercise to follow. Class will be held at The Yard at 33 Nassau Ave in Brooklyn.
A capstone workshop will be held on Wednesday December 15th during which the class will collectively critique a selected poem. Class and workshop will be held at The Yard at 33 Nassau Ave in Brooklyn.
To complete the Series we will be offering to our PTNYC students a chance to perform their work at Milk & Roses on Wednesday, December 19th to implement our real world application of writing.
