Steven Ikeme is a doctoral candidate in English who works within the conceptual frame known as the African diaspora or the black Atlantic. He interrogates critical perspectives already established in the field by considering the role of internationalism in the multidirectional flow of diasporic influence. He explores significant topics such as Pan-Africanism, Caribbean radicalism, American exceptionalism, (post)colonial migration and exile.
