Just a reminder to all our students that the deadline for MA and DA fellowships is coming up on March 1, at the end of our “spring” break.
All candidates who wish to be considered for the fellowship should fill out the application and also provide a writing sample (10-20 pp), a personal statement (1-2pp), and 2 or more letters of reference from faculty.

All materials for fellowship applications should be sent to the English department office. Any students applying for a new degree program (ie, a BA student applying to the MA or DA program) should submit their materials to the Graduate Admissions Office.
Note that for internal fellowship candidates, the GRE is not required.
We anticipate that the competition for our limited number of fellowship spots will be tight, and we encourage you to be sure your materials are available to us in full and on time.
