(He/Him/His) is a first-year graduate student (M.A.) in the English Department at St. John’s University from Freeport, New York. He graduated with his Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A.) in English from Saint Augustine’s University in the spring of 2022. Chris was commissioned into the U.S. Army Reserve as a Second Lieutenant in the Military Police Corps in 2022. Chris is currently a Graduate Assistant for the St. John’s University Writing Center and Social Media Manager for Raleigh Review Literary Magazine. Chris’s research interests are in Africana Diaspora Studies, African American Studies, Caribbean and Latinx Studies, Indigenous Studies, Poetry, Class Race Gender, and Sexuality Studies, 20th and 21st Century Hip Hop Studies, and much more. Chris is the only boy out of 5 sisters with one being his twin sister Christiana. When he is not reading and researching he loves to spend time with his family and girlfriend Alyssa.
