Tejan Waszak, ABD, passed her oral comprehensive exams in early September. Tejan prepared in the areas of performance theory (with Dr. Shante Smalls), Anglophone Caribbean literature (with Dr. Raj Chetty), and humor in postcolonial literature (with Dr. Dohra Ahmad), all of which will come together to help her write a dissertation on Jamaican women’s writing and performance.
