Emerging Scholars Fellow Program at Stockton University

The Emerging Scholars Fellow Program seeks to promote a diverse faculty and curriculum at Stockton University, as well as provide mentoring and teaching opportunities. The program has four inter-related goals:

  • To gain teaching experience in the scholar’s area of interest at Stockton University.
  • To receive professional mentoring by Stockton faculty and staff.
  • To experience an engaged and reflective teaching environment.
  • To benefit from a supportive academic institution while completing the dissertation or furthering a research agenda.

Both advanced graduate students and recent PhDs are welcome to apply. Graduate students should be close to finishing their dissertation, and recent PhDs should be no more than two years beyond their graduation date. If accepted, fellows should consider the program their principle form of employment while in residence.
