Internship Opportunity: The Center for Fiction

As part of a special project with the estate of the esteemed literary critic, Roger Shattuck, the Center is looking for an intern to begin working this spring through fall 2013. The intern will assist in organizing a conference in Shattuck’s honor focusing on the 100th anniversary of the publication of Marcel Proust’sSwann’s Way.  Tasks will include everything from basic administrative work to analyzing critical writing. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in literary criticism to gain experience in the field. This position requires attention to detail, research knowledge and writing ability. This is a nonpaying position, but access to an extensive fiction library, study space and use of our Writers Studio is available. The hours are flexible, but will increase in the fall.
