 Dr. Miguel Barnet

Award-winning Cuban poet, novelist and author of Biografía de un cimarrón (Biography of a Runaway Slave). President of the National Association of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC), the country’s foremost cultural and literary center. Recipient of Cuba’s National Prize for Literature in 1994 and the Juan Rulfo International Short Story Prize in 2006.
