The Princeton Northeast Queer and Trans People of Color conference committee is excited to announce our call for workshop proposals. This year’s theme will be Healing, Coalition Building, and Decolonization. The conference will be taking place at Princeton University from April 7-8, 2017. The deadline to submit your proposal is February 16, 2017. Please fill out the following google form to make a submission: https://goo.gl/forms/NyRJf8InoqbdFBm12 . We will be letting folks know whether their proposals are accepted around March 3, 2017.
We especially welcome workshops from the following topics:
Protecting and serving undocuqueer individuals
Antiblackness within the queer and trans community
Tools for decolonizing the mind and body
You will need the following materials to fill out this call for workshop:
Name(s) of presenter(s)
Workshop description (max. 200 words)
Structure for workshops
We encourage submissions from varying perspectives including professionals, academics, students, and community activists/organizers. The knowledge shared within the community is more important than considering oneself an expert.
