On March 20, Raquel Corona successfully completed her Doctoral Oral Exams with flying colors. Assistant Professor Dr. Steve Alavarez and Assistant Professors Dr. Raj Chetty and Dr. Shante Paradigm Smalls constituted Raquel’s committee. Ms. Corona dazzled her committee with her wide range of knowledge of Latinx and feminist rhetorics, Critical Latina/o Literature, and Black and Latinx Cultural Feminism.
We are looking forward to reading Raquel’s dissertation!
