The faculty and students St. John’s University English Department would like to extend our congratulations to Cristina Migliaccio, who completed her Doctoral work last spring.
Dr. Cristina Migliaccio defended her dissertation, “Language, Materiality and Citizenship in Digital Spaces” on May 1st, 2017. Her project is rooted in making academic discourse more accessible in the higher education classroom. She explores how digital media might be used to privilege students’ translingual practices toward that end.
